This nature-inspired branch style ring was hand-engraved with that signature T&L tree bark/woodgrain pattern that you will see in several of our pieces. The shank is handmade from SCS certified recycled content 14kt white gold. You will notice it has a soft, buttery, luminous warmth to the metal. This is because at T&L Fine Jewelry we do not do any plating processes of any sort. This is the natural color of the gold without any rhodium plating.
This ring features a beautiful ametrine in the setting. Ametrine is a very special stone where citrine and amethyst have grown together in the same crystal. It forms when tiny iron particles in the quartz oxidize at a different rate in different sides of the quartz crystal. Usually this is caused by temperature fluctuations in different parts of the crystal as it is growing. Isn't that amazing? Can you imagine how rare these conditions must be in nature? This stone weighs in at about 1.5 carats and measures close to 8x6 mm in an emerald cut.
The current size of the ring is 5.5. If you order another size please allow up to 2 weeks before shipping for your chosen customizations to take place. Sizings are often done much quicker- call, e-mail, or text for a more accurate ETA.
