This diamond is one of the most beautiful and eye clean stones I have ever seen in an I1 clarity. I am surprised, honestly, that GIA did not designate it an SI quality. At any rate, it makes this ring a FANTASTIC value. The stone is positively gorgeous! It weighs in at .46 carat. It is an I in color making it very close to colorless with a beautiful amount of prismatic fire and sparkle. It is set in a non-traditional West to East configuration instead of the traditional North/South alignment for this shape stone.
It is set in a 14kt white gold tapered bezel on a plain flat stock band for a very geometric, modern, minimalist style. It’s beautiful worn alone or in a stylish stack for a mix and match look- an excellent choice for a lady who is hard on rings and worried about the security of her stone. A bezel is probably the easiest to wear style of setting and offers excellent protection to the stone. This an excellent choice for an engagement ring.
The 14kt yellow gold shadow band fits perfectly against the white gold engagement ring. Meant to symbolize a path this band veers off around the stone in the engagement ring before rejoining its original straight course.
